Inclement Weather Policy

A quick reminder about our inclement weather policy: We follow Camas School District’s closures and school cancellations. If Camas School District closes for the day, CW Co-op will close for the day. But, if Camas School District is delayed, only our morning classes are cancelled; afternoon classes will be held. You may also call the school at 834-6244 to hear a recording listing any closures or cancellations. The voicemail will be updated no later than 6:15AM.

If any classes are cancelled, we will make up those days later in the school year. You will be advised of the make-up days as they are scheduled. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact registrar@cwcoop.org or president@cwcoop.org

Returning Parent Registration: What does it mean for you?

If you are a parent of a child currently enrolled in the preschool and plan on enrolling for the 2013-2014 school year, you’re going to want to read this post. The registration procedures are changing!

Just a quick note about why we are changing things this year: you might remember standing in line for a good portion of the day when you registered for this year. (Who can forget that?) This line has become quite a defining feature of our school, so much so that it seems some families don’t even try to enroll because they don’t want to (or can’t) stand in line. Furthermore, each year we do a survey of enrolled parents, and complaints about registration are among the most common of feedback we receive.

So, rather than standing in line the day of registration, you will be able to go online the week prior to get your registration number. Registration night (March 7th) will run essentially the same: bring the email with your number. Doors open at 5 PM.
