Spring Break 2017

Just a reminder that our Spring Break is scheduled for April 3-7. We hope you have a wonderful week off, full of adventures. See you back in class on Monday, April 10!

Alumni and New Parent Registration Night: March 9th at 6pm

If you are a new parent interested in joining our wonderful preschool (or alumni interested in rejoining!), your Registration Night is Thursday, March 9th, at 6pm in the preschool “gym”. Don’t forget to bring the following:

  • Your confirmation email with your registration number
  • Your completed Registration Packet
  • $100 check made out to C-W Co-op ($50 non-refundable registration fee plus $50 tuition deposit)
  • Your child(ren)’s State Issued Birth Certificate (not the hospital copy) for age verification – simply show it, then take it back

We are giving families who are preschool alumni within the past 7 years (from September 2009 through the 2015-2016 school year) the chance to register first on New Parent Registration Night. If you do not have a child enrolled in the 2016-2017 school year but had a child enrolled within the last 5 years, check the box on the New Parent Registration Number Event form to tell us you are part of our alumni, and upon verification, you will be assigned a letter instead of a number. Letters will be called in alphabetical order starting at 6pm on New Parent Registration Night (March 9th), followed by numbers in order.

We can’t predict which classes will be popular, so please join us to find out what’s available. We also keep wait lists for any full classes and often have families join the preschool this way, so don’t hesitate to get on a wait list if your first choice is full!

We will start calling letters and then numbers at 6pm, so please be on time! If you are not present when we call your number, you will be bumped to the back of the line. No exceptions. Check out the Registration and Registration Procedures pages for more information.

**You may park on side streets, in the lower parking lot, or in the gravel lot on the north side of 13th Street. Please do not park in the upper church parking lot and refrain from blocking the parking lot entrances. Thank you for your cooperation.

Inclement Weather Policy

A quick reminder about our inclement weather policy: We follow Camas School District’s closures and school cancellations. If Camas School District closes for the day, CW Co-op will close for the day. But, if Camas School District is delayed, only our morning classes are cancelled; afternoon classes will be held. You may also call the school at 834-6244 to hear a recording listing any closures or cancellations. The voicemail will be updated no later than 6:15AM.

If any classes are cancelled, we will make up those days later in the school year. You will be advised of the make-up days as they are scheduled. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact registrar@cwcoop.org or president@cwcoop.org

C.A.R.O.L. 2016

carol_decor

We are proud to once again participate in the C.A.R.O.L. Program!

Between November 28th and December 16th, you can bring any of the following:

  • unwrapped new toys
  • gift cards in envelopes
  • movie tickets
  • sports gear
  • toiletries for children up to 16 years old
  • non-perishable food items

Giving trees will be set up in each classroom. You or your child can place any donated items under the tree in your child’s classroom. We have been participating in the C.A.R.O.L. Program for several years now, and it has been a great experience. It is always a pleasure to see how excited our children are to give to others!

The C.A.R.O.L. (Christmas Activities Relief Organization Limited) Program is sponsored by the Camas Fire Department and benefits families in the Camas and Washougal areas. We have been increasing the amount of people we help every year – let’s see if we can do it again this year!

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
