Ideally, you’ve joined the Camas-Washougal Parent Co-op because you want to be involved! Family jobs are a huge part of that and help keep our community what is it! This is YOUR school.
These jobs are essential and the school counts on each one to be completed. As the saying goes, it takes a village!
Each family is required to have one job per child they have enrolled. Please note that some jobs require commitments during the school day (9am to 3pm) while other jobs require commitments during evening/weekend hours. Some jobs can also be done remotely. Please choose a job that best fits your family or specific parent. The Family Job can be completed by someone other than the child's parent (i.e. Grandparent, nanny, sibling over the age of 18, neighbor).
Each job requires a commitment of about 10 hours throughout the school year.
If you ever struggle with your family job or have questions, email the Vice President as soon as a concern or issue arises at vp@cwcoop.org.
We also maintain a ‘Family Job Substitute List’ for times where you cannot complete a specific day related to your Family Job. You can ask the VP about this list.
