Elaine Walker

I think, as a teacher, it’s the close community that develops between the classroom and families. Parents have a chance to come and help out regularly in my classroom. This allows them to observe their child at school and lets parents know me better as a teacher.

Alice Barker

I love that the school is its own village. I strongly believe that parents and family are a child’s first teacher and that my job as a teacher is to assist the family in a child’s education. I feel that having parents/family in the classroom daily, enhances a child’s education! It takes a village to raise healthy, caring, educated children!
